CUPERTINO — November 2, 2026. Cupertino’s November 7, 2026 events calendar lists a ranger-led guided walk at McClellan Ranch Preserve to help residents recognize birds in a riparian habitat.

What visitors may learn

The city highlights possible sightings of species such as red-shouldered hawks or screech owls. Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed, and participants should respect nesting sites and avoid disturbing birds.

A short mixed-surface route

The park department describes an approximately quarter-mile walk using dirt trails and paved paths. The preserve is at 22221 McClellan Road.

Registration rules

The city says all participants must register in advance, and children must attend with an adult. Consult the event organizer about meeting time, capacity, accessibility, weather and footwear before arriving.
